“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”
Paul the Apostle
- Your self-awareness and drive to grow are impressive.
- Be sure always to remain humble. As you acquire knowledge, arrogance may become a temptation, but His wisdom will overcome it.
- Your big challenge? Sometimes your enthusiasm can feel a bit like pressure to other people… And when it feels like you might fail, you sometimes find it challenging to follow through.
In the Pure Wholeness Way?

Take the time to schedule smaller tasks that align with your big goals.
You've probably heard the saying, "The devil is in the details." When it comes to achieving your health goals, this couldn't be truer.
Whether you're planning a year long body recomposition or aiming to drop 20 lbs by next summer, falling behind on the short-term tasks can have a big impact on your long-term results. That's why it's so important to take the time to schedule smaller tasks that align with your big goals.
By breaking down your goals into manageable milestones, then breaking those milestones down further into small tasks, you can stay on track and avoid getting overwhelmed. Plus, you'll be able to celebrate each accomplishment along the way.
Here's your winning 3-step process:

Set big goals
What are your goals? Do you want to lose weight, get more fit and healthy, or lead a healthier lifestyle overall? Big goal-setting is the key to achieving these ambitions!
The first step in setting out on this path towards pure wholeness should be choosing what exactly you wish to achieve with your life now that inevitably isn't going stagnant over time.
Set an achievable target date (e.g., within one year), then work backward from there by identifying ways to make progress every day until you reach the finish line without ever feeling overwhelmed along the journey.

Divide big goals into milestones
A milestone is a reference point that marks a significant event or a branching decision point within a project. In terms of health and fitness, milestones might be things like starting a new workout routine, hitting a weight loss goal, or completing a race.
Once you have a clear idea of what you want to achieve (your big goal) and when you want to achieve it (your deadline), you can start to break down that goal into key achievements which will act as signs that you're going in the right direction.
For example, if your goal is to lose 20 lbs by June, some milestones might be:
- Lose 5 lbs by March
- Lose 9 lbs by April
- Lose 14.5 lbs by May
So after you identify your big goal, schedule realistic milestones to keep you on track.

Schedule regular, powerful, small tasks that lead directly to accomplishing your milestones and perfectly align with your health goals.
A task is an activity with a specific purpose related to the larger goal. It's a critical step on the road towards your next milestone and goal.
It's important to remember that our health is always a priority, no matter how busy we are. That's why it's crucial to schedule daily, small tasks that lead directly to reaching our milestones and perfectly align with our health goals.
By dedicating just a few minutes each day to taking care of ourselves, we can ensure that we're always moving closer to our goals and staying on track to leading healthy and happy lives.
Don't underestimate the power of this effective process—it could be the key to achieving your biggest goals.
Celebrate your victories, no matter how small.

We all have something we're working towards, whether a long-term goal or a daily task.
Every time we accomplish something, no matter how insignificant it may seem, we should take a moment to savor the satisfying feeling of success. And while it's important to stay focused on our objectives, it's also essential to take the time to celebrate our accomplishments, no matter how small they may be. After all, it's the small wins that keep us motivated and moving forward.
We remind ourselves that we can achieve great things by commemorating our victories, however small they may be.
So next time you cross something off your task list, take a moment to praise God and celebrate your victory. It'll make the journey much more enjoyable, making it easier to repeat.
Keep learning!

A recent study found that people who believe they can improve their intelligence are more likely to succeed than those who think intelligence is fixed. This finding is in line with the growth mindset, which posits that intelligence and ability are not set traits but developed through effort and practice.
People with a growth mindset tend to approach challenges as opportunities to learn and grow rather than as threats to their ego. As a result, they are more resilient in the face of setbacks and more likely to pursue their goals with persistence. So if you want to succeed in your health journey, remember to keep learning!
Adopting a growth mindset can open you up to new possibilities and help you reach your whole-person health potential.
Find a community

A community can provide support, friendship, and accountability. When you're a part of a community, you're more likely to stick to your goals because you don't want to let the community down.
Look for a group that shares your interests and works towards similar goals. Don't be afraid to try a community even if it's uncomfortable for you.
Community is an essential part of life for most everyone. We all need to feel like we belong and are part of a purpose larger than ourselves. A community can provide support and that sense of belonging that we all need.
